Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy of the scalp

MESOTHERAPY – treatment for hair loss, by injecting active biological substances

Mesotherapy of the scalp is a non-surgical treatment with proven results in most cases of hair loss.

Mesotherapy means introducing of active biological substances (ABS) in deep derma, at the level of the hair follicles and vascular plexus. Once reached the target tissues, ABS stimulate all intercellular biochemical synthesis channels.

What are ABS (active biological substances)?

ABS are a range of different organic products, like essential aminoacids, Hyaluronic acid, growth factors, vitamins, etc., as well as inorganic compounds like minerals and micro elements. The ready-to-use liquids prepared by the producer come in single dosages.

How is the procedure performed?

Injecting the ABS is performed ambulatory, through very thin needles in order to minimize discomfort. Also, an anesthetic substance can be used if there are no allergic reactions to it. It is important for the doctor to inject the substance at the right level, i.e. in the areas of hair follicles growth and development.

Mesotherapy doesn’t need special preparation

Patients only need to be healthy and not showing signs of acute inflammations or infections. The duration of the injection procedure depends on the treated surface, but usually it doesn’t take more than 30 minutes. There are no visible signs of the injection, but, on rare occasions, small bruises can occur on the places of injection.

The mesotherapy sessions can be scheduled once in 2 weeks, for an intense treatment, as well as once a month for a maintenance treatment. These are recommended also together with the hair transplant procedure, following an individual plan established with the doctor.

PRP therapy

PRP THERAPY

PRP THERAPY – the most modern treatment for skin and hair regeneration

The PRP therapy, Platelet-Rich Plasma or autologous plasma enriched with Thrombocytes, is the most modern treatment for skin and hair, which uses the body’s factors.

Initially used in orthopedics, in reconstructing tendons and bones after fractures, and then in dental work (gums regeneration), in plastic surgery (for scaring), the treatment with own blood substance is widely applied in the whole world for the rejuvenation of the skin and rehabilitation of hair growth.

Any group of cells which forms a tissue needs growth factors for physiological development. Since all these factors can be found in blood, a method to separate them together with plasma (non-cellular component of the blood) and Thrombocytes was elaborated. After processing, the substances are re-injected in the cutaneous tissue, thus stimulating the cellular repair processes, the synthesis of Neocollagen and capillaries, and growth of hairs.

What the procedure consists of?

The procedure consists in harvesting small amounts (approximately 20 ml) of blood, through a tube. It is then quickly processed in compliance with a pre-established protocol.

With a very thin needle syringe, the plasma is injected 1 cm in depth, after applying an anesthetic spray. The recovery after the treatment with autologous plasma enriched with Thrombocytes in the area of the scalp is immediate. You can return to your daily routine immediately after getting out of the hospital. The PRP injecting sessions are recommended once every 2-3 months and last for about an hour.

Contraindications and precautions:

  • Fever

  • Active injections at the scalp level

  • Diabetes

  • Coagulation issues

Why choose PRP treatment?

PRP treatment and via mesotherapy is a secure and easy solution for patients suffering from hair loss in first stage, and sometimes even in advanced stage. Benefits:

  • Modern method

  • Acceleration of hair roots regeneration

  • Revitalization of the scalp

  • Increased resistance of the thinned hairs

  • The results of hair transplant are much more rapid, better, more visible when performed together with consecutive plasma treatments.

Also, this type of injections treatment is an efficient method for preparing the receiving area in cases of hair transplant, as well as for stimulating and maintaining the follicles after the transplantation procedure. As a result, the efficiency of the hair transplant increases.

Hair transplant

HAIR TRANSPLANT through FUE

HAIR TRANSPLANT through FUE

Lost hair can now be recovered! Our clinic applies the newest and most efficient method of hair transplant – Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), to help people suffering hair loss (alopecia) recover the expressivity of their faces and the aesthetic aspect of their look.

PURPOSE:

Recovering the hair on the scalp, as well as eyebrows, for a more natural aspect of the hair, without scars.

SERVICE INTENDED FOR:

  •    People suffering from alopecia (hair loss);

  •    People who have suffered accidents, burns or surgical interventions, when some areas of the scalp or face were left hairless.

THE INTERVENTION:

Hair transplant surgery consists of collecting the hair from the back of the head and inserting it in a different area. For a more natural aspect of the hair, it is necessary to transplant a large number of follicles. This is why the good results and a shorter period of recovery will be ensured by the chosen transplant technique. Our clinic applies the most modern, efficient and inoffensive method – the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction).

Unlike other methods, which require transplantation of small skin fragments, FUE is a minimally invasive technique, performed under local anesthesia. It doesn’t require incisions and it doesn’t leave scars, therefore it is suitable for persons wearing their hair short. By using a small needle, each hair follicle is separately collected, without affecting its structure.

Thus the collection is much more efficient, and the healing process lasts less. Depending on the surface of the transplant area, the FUE procedure can be performed within a day (3 to 6 hours) or in 2 sessions, scheduled within two days in a row. The transplanted hairs maintain their natural features and will grow naturally in the receiving area, in 2 to 3 months.

RECOVERING:

Hair transplant doesn’t need a recovery period, and the patient can get back to daily routine even on the next day. The procedure doesn’t leave scars, and the signs will totally disappear in 10-15 days.
